A world-first in magnetism research was published by Prof Michael Coey at the SFI Research Centre, AMBER (the Advanced Materials and BioEngineering Research Centre based at Trinity College Dublin) together with researchers from the Netherlands, Singapore, and the USA in the prestigious journal Science. Prof Fergus Shanahan and Dr Sally Cudmore APC Microbiome Institute. Lisa Helen, PhD Researcher from Tyndall National Institute at University College Cork, won the top prize at the Science Foundation Ireland Technology Innovation Development Award (TIDA) pitch off, which took place as part of the Startup Gathering in Dublin. Science Foundation Ireland hosts its first Founders Forum as part of Startup Gathering.
