‘Hero of Labour
of the Russian
Federation’
Volleyball legend Ni-
kolay Karpol received
on Wednesday the state
award ‘Hero of Labour of
the Russian Federation’
from President Vladimir
Putin at a special cere-
mony held in the Krem-
lin. Karpol, who is the
most successful coach
in Volleyball history, will
turn 80 on May 1.
With a third victory in a row
against Igor Gorgonzola Nova-
ra in the championship series,
Imoco Volley Conegliano cap-
tured their 2nd title in the Italian
Women’s National League.
Samantha Fabris who is
one of the best opposites of
Europe scores 31 points at
final game and contribute to
Championship with impres-
sive performance among final
series. And also the setter and
captain of Imoco,Joanna Wo-
losz, was honoured with MVP
award of Final series.
The coach of Panthers, Da-
niele Santarelli repeat the excel-
lent performance offered at Pa-
laIgor and PalaVerde, flattened
the resistance of the Novara.
The fourth game was pla-
yed in front of approximately
5.500 spectators.
