NEW BOOKS IN THE ENGLISH TEACHERS' LIBRARY
Oxford dictionaries and Teachers’ handbooks
The books were bought with the money we earned by selling our magazine English Extra last year.
COMPETITION IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE 2018
On 24th January 2018 13 students took part in the competition in our school: Lana, Mia, Marko, Laura,
Ania, Isa, Vito P., Vito Ivan S., Katarina, Katja K., Karla, Viktoria and Katja V. The best results were
achieved by Lana Bižić (8c), Mia Rotim (8e ) and Marko Doljanin (8a ).
Three of them gained the necessary points to be invited to the County level competition, which took place
in Dobriše Cesarića primary school on 20th February 2018. Lana, 8c was 10th with 83/90 points, Mia, 8e
was 17th (76/90) and Marko, 8a was 23rd (70/90). (234 students took part in the county competition
ranged from 1st to 41st place.)
Their mentors and teachers are Mrs Ivanka Hitner, Miss Zdenka Sokač and Ms Blanka Bezuk.
