TECHNIQUES AND METHODOLOGY OF ADAPTATION PROBLEM AND SCHOOL FEAR Preschool education has an important place in the lives of children. The first five years of childhood is an extremely intensive period of development and learning. Social and emotional development is progressing well when the relationships with adults are close, supportive and based on trust. Every partner in this project has a problem of school fear and adaptation problem in their kindergarten. Children of this age have difficult adaptation in a new daily environment, including other individuals and fellow classmates. They are experiencing various emotional difficulties which deteriorate in their social, emotional, cognitive development, and sometimes even temporary physical ailments. Turkey (Magic box, Magic hero); Croatia (Contact with members of families even much before child start to go in kindergarten, Inclusion of parents as active participants in a child's adaptation, Logarithmic games/ finger games); France (We play with boxes, Outdoors school, Managing its emotions); Bulgaria (Art therapy, Bibliotherapy, Puppet theatre and making puppets); Romania (Adapting by adjustment of the learning space according to the child s needs, Summer kindergarten, Sessions with parents for children's adaptation in kindergarten). For easier application we followed the same pattern in explaining the techniques – name of techniques and summary, How/Where to use and Benefits of techniques. The exchange of information and the study of different techniques and method for early school adaptation problem among the participants will help in developing practical proposals which can be applied in the context of different educational systems. 42
