INTRODUCTION
This booklet is a final product of a project co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union, KA 219 –
Cooperation for inovation and the exchange of good practices, strategic partnership for schools only.
The title of our project is Fearless child makes a cheerful child and it lasted for two years ( 2016.-2018. ). Partners
were five preschool institutions from Turkey, Bulgaria, France, Romania and Croatia. The main aim of the project was
to make preschool education more attractive and appealing by sharing the ideas and developing new methods and
techniques to overcome the problems of preschool adaptation also by strenghtening the cooperation between school
and parents.
Since preschool education forms the first step of education, it is a first button of the shirt and it must be buttoned up
correctly. During preschool education, while preparing for a primary school, children learn to socialize and work
together, share and act with compassion that is why this period is extremely important. It is a platform which is
composed of a student-teacher-parent triangle and the better and stronger that relationship is, the stronger
personalities our children will develop.
The first five years in every child`s life is a period of extreme development and learning. Social and emotional
development is progressing well when the relationships with adults are close, supportive and based on trust. That is
why it is crucial to exchange ideas, learn and develop new techniques and methods for decreasing the problems of
preschool adaptation and to minimize the school phobia that can later lead to leaving school. This is why this project
was needed.
