"THERE IS A LITTLE HOUSE IN ZAGREB"
Children are in a circle holding hands and one child is staying in the middle of the circle. Children are singing
and clapping their hands and child in a circle is walking. They are singing: ,,There is a little house in Zagreb,
čiči dači dom. In little house is young fellow, čiči dači dom. And fellow is choosing wife (,,fellow″ is taking
someone`s hand to join him walking). And wife is choosing son ( wife″ is taking someone`s hand to join).
And son is choosing sister ... Children can here be creative and they can add other characters. At the end
when all children are together they can make big circle if they want and sing: ,,And we are now happy cause
we got married.″.
All pupils like this game very much because they are all involved in this game and they can be creative in the
way that they can choose characters on their own and they can choose even the name of the town. They are
dancing cheerfully and fearless, because they can t do anything wrong. They like to choose and to be
chosen. They are singing and clapping their hands together and that s also a way to feel a part of the group
by doing the same thing. The song is easy to remember, all parts are repeating. At last, children are feel
comfortable, dancing together. Usually they also laugh when they invent some funny character.
