TRADITIONAL GAMES Practice has shown that traditional games have good emotional benefits for the child`s development. They are spontaneous, playful, easily connect to a child`s inner world and they are suitable for children who have less developed social skills because through traditional games children very easily interact with others. They create sense of enjoyment in a child together with a sense of belonging to a group. This is why they are helpful in a child`s adjustment to kindergarten allowing them to play and socialize in a pleasant environment. Partner`s have presented implementation of traditional games in the process of adjustment to kindergarten, and also each kindergarten has played with its children some of the traditional games from other countries, which allowed children to learn about cultures of other European countries, to feel closer to their peers in those countries and to improve their foreign language skills. 30
