MEET

port plays a key role
in instilling a spirit of
competition and builds an
environment of positivity,
excitement and determination. There
are few things that inspire HPites likes
sports do. This passion was distinctly
visible in the recently conducted All
India Annual Sports Meet.
Eleven teams from various zones
and offices participated in the Sports
Meet this year. The participants were
a mix of employees, their children
and superannuated employees. The
activities conducted under the meet
were mainly track and field events.
Our Chairman & Managing Director,
Shri Mukesh Kumar Surana inaugurated
the Sports Meet on Saturday, January
6, 2018 in the presence of our Directors,
other dignitaries and participants. The
March Past was the star attraction of
the Sports Meet given its vibrant and
colourful look.
The major events conducted during
the meet included 4 x 100 M Relay
(Men & Women), Tug-of-War (Men
& Women) and other events (Men &
Women). Based on their performance
in these events, the winners of the most
coveted Trophies: Chairman’s Trophy,
Director’s Trophy and Executive
Director’s Trophy were declared.
