A Chairde,

Just a quick message to say hello and introduce myself. My name is Jonathan Kent, and I am the new General Manager of MADRA. I am a Galway man – born and bred!

When the opportunity arose to work as part of the team at MADRA – I knew there was no better organization to join if I wanted to make a difference. This is the very same inspiration that continues to drive me today. I always wanted to dedicate my time towards making a real difference.

I’ve been fortunate to work in many different employment sectors – and in turn I have brought all this experience with me to my role with MADRA. With every new position comes a learning curve – and so far I am enjoying every aspect of it, especially the DOGS!

MADRA’s ultimate and overall aim is that all dogs have permanent, loving homes – and this exactly what we strive to achieve from day to day. Together with the kind support and unbelievable generosity of our donors and supporters – we can continue to take MADRA from strength to strength, and as we have seen great success, we are always hungry to do more.

One thing that has stood out the most since I began working with MADRA, are the Volunteers. Their dedication and hard work is second to none! Over the coming months I look forward to meeting you all, volunteers, sponsors and dog owners alike! I am based in the Furbo Head Office – and my door is always open.

There are so many exciting projects in the pipeline – and I look forward to the journey ahead, and keeping you all up to date on the ongoing progress here from MADRA HQ. Thank you as always for your continuous generosity, we could not do what we do without your support!

Slán go foil,

Jonathan Kent
