MUSICAL NOTES
Justin Kelly ‘13, Tyrone Allen ‘13, Theresa Rose ‘13, and Myles Hill ‘14
were selected to participate in the prestigious Maryland Music Educator’s
Association All State Honors Ensemble in Band, Orchestra, Choir,
and Jazz. Thousands of high school and middle school students from
around Maryland auditioned in November 2012 for placement among
the best high school musicians. The students who were selected came
together for two to three days of rehearsals and concerts in February
and March. Justin also made All State during his Sophomore and Junior
years and was nominated for the All Eastern Honor Band, meaning he is
considered one of the top musicians in the Eastern division of the U.S.,
encompassing all states between Maryland and Maine.
