In a interview with XXL Magazine Mike Jones elaborates on his disappearance from the rap game saying that, "The momentum got slowed down fighting politics." He didn't go in to great detail but other sources claim reasoning of disappearance to be due to complications within his contract with his former label, Asylum Records.
