Trouble in Paradise?

A lot of drama surrounding Tyga and his Young Money counterparts has surfaced to the internet over the past week or so. Apparently, a romantic relationship between Tyga and Kylie Jenner triggered a series of events that Tyga refused to come back from. Young Money CEO (Lil Wayne) made a decision to black-list Tyga for having what seems to be a romantic relationship with Kylie Jenner, who happens to be 17. The same age as Lil Wayne’s daughter. It is clear that Tyga is upset that his label refused to release his new project The Gold Album: 18th Dynasty but making the situation worse may have not been the best idea. The former Young Money rapper went out of his way to call out his label on twitter and even threatened to leak his new album on the internet for free. He then took it a step further to talk about his dislike for his former label mate Drake. In a interview with Vibe Magazine Tyga says, “I don’t like Drake as a person. He’s just fake to me. I like his music; you know what I’m saying? I think his music is good, but we’re all different people. We were forced together and it was kinda’ like we were forcing relationships together.” Tyga’s success up to this point can partially be accredited to his label Cash Money/Young Money Records. Ran by Birdman and Lil Wayne. Tyga going out on his own with his label Last Kings might not end well; seeing how his career has been what it is because of Birdman and Lil Wayne. His last album was not a commercial success, only selling 54,000 copies in it’s first week. Hopefully Tyga’s new project has better success as he continues his career without the backing from such a strong label like Young Money/Cash Money Records.
