Lastly, Circa Survive grace the stage, playing songs from their newest release Descensus. Anthony Green has an incredible display of on stage presence, jumping and whirling around to the beat of his own music. He had playful banter with the crowd, and even played with his fans, running up toward the stage, having everyone scream, run to the back of the stage, with everyone quiet, and then running back again while pumping his fists in the air. He did that multiple times, something very Dad-like that was endearing and hilarious. Circa ended their night with “Get Out”. The entire room erupted in song as the instruments going silent as the pure voices of the crowd rang throughout the house. It was chilling and amazing to witness. Green even jumped into the crowd at the end, letting his fans hold him up and carry him to the end.

Overall, this show was one of the greatest ways to end 2014 with a bang. These bands have amazing things coming up, including Pianos Become The Teeth playing Skate and Surf, and Circa going on a U.S. tour with Balance and Composure and CHON. Make sure to catch them this year!

Circa Survive, Title Fight, and Pianos Become The Teeth killed the first of two shows they held at the Union Transfer in Philadelphia later December. The house was packed with Pianos Become the Teeth, Title Fight, and Circa Survive fans alike. Wall to wall craziness during the set, filled with crowd surfers, circle pits, and mosh pits. Pianos become the teeth start off the show with “Lesions” off of their latest release Keep You. They filled the room with ethereal sound with enticing chords and beats. The crowd watches in a trance as they place beautiful songs mainly off of their newest release. Title Fight is next, starting off their set with “Secret Society” off of their latest release Floral Green. The guys in Title Fight never fail to put on a good show, with high energy and a great on stage presence. The crowd was electrified now, crowd surfers steadily crawling up to the front. The aura of the room turned wild the second they played the first few notes of fan favorite “Shed”.
