Music Mayhem Magazine JANUARY/FEBRUARY (Papa Roach Faces Their F.E.A.R.) | Page 10

I’m Here today with Tony Palermo (DRUMS) of Papa Roach, You’re currently on your co-headlining tour with Seether, Kyng & Islander. How is this tour going for you guys so far?

Its great, It’s a strong solid lineup of bands & I think the fans are really digging it. We have had a lot of sold out shows so far, its been really great. A lot of high energy on stage, Every band is pulling their weight. We got a couple of newer bands that are exciting the fans. Its always a good time when you have a good package put together.

The album artwork for this album is quite basic but seems quite fitting to the album title well, Is there any particular meaning behind the album artwork?

We kind of just tied it in with the video we shot for Face Everything And Rise. Actually Jerry Horton, our guitar player shot all the stills for the album cover and all the inside artwork and stuff. This is his first time doing that which is awesome cause he is always taking photos and he's pretty into that and he is always showing us photos of his work and we’re like “dude that cool” now we finally got to tie it in. You know it was just one of those things that was the setting of this place called The Pinnacles which is North of Los Angeles. It just fit and was just like other worldly. You drive out there and you're like where is it, then you get there and see all these Pinnacles and you're like oh there it is and you drive on this road for like 30 minutes then you finally get to it and that’s where we filmed the video and took the cover shot. It was taken at night, and it feels like when you're there you feel like your on a different planet which made this a cool fitting cover for F.E.A.R.
