Founded by Jasmin Sohi and Tom Holberton who trained in both architecture and graphic design, the studio enjoys working with interesting people on quirky projects, from brand identities to installations. They believe design should be playful - a recent collaboration with the Museum of Sake was a ‘floating’ sake bar with a roof held up by helium balloons, part of an Ukiyo-e exhibition in London. SUSSIE VILLARICO, BARCELONA CO-FOUNDER OF COOKING IN MOTION WWW.COOKING-IN-MOTION.COM Sussie’s interest for sake started in 2013 when she decided to leave her native Denmark and move to Barcelona to join the front of the house team in Pakta, a Nikkei ( Japanese-Peruvian) restaurant in Barcelona owned by Albert Adriá. At Pakta she discovered sake’s great potential to pair with food. Together with her partner Sebastian Mazzola she founded Cooking in Motion - a company where they combine their love of cooking, sharing and exploring the world. This March Sussie participated in the WSET sake level 3 course in London as a step towards one day becoming a great sake sommelier. TOSHIE HIRAIDE, TOKYO SAKE SAMURAI COORDINATOR & IWC AMBASSADOR HTTP://COOPSACHI.JP Having originally trained as a flight cabin attendant, she passed the Japan Sommelier Association exam in 1992 . She worked with the Wine & Spirts Education Trust was the mastermind of sake promotion who introduced IWC to Sake Samurai. She is on the front line of various sake promotion activities in Japan and is immersed in the world of sake as the Sake Samurai Coordinator. VIKTORYIA TOMA, DUBAI AFRICAN + EASTERN SAKE SPECIALIST WWW.AFRICANEASTERN.COM Viktoryia was born in Belarus and has been living in Dubai for over 7 years. She currently works for the UAE’s leading alcohol exporter and distributor, African + Eastern, as a regional Sake Specialist overseeing Japanese Category development and promotion. Viktoryia previously held the position of Japanese Food & Beverage Expert while launching Tokyo and Nagoya destinations for Etihad Airways. She also has 3 years experience as Business Development Manager for Abu Dhabi Airport Company, responsible for catering Formula 1 Grand Prix and a role of a Food Stylist for the Eastern European version of ELLE- Decoration (DECO-style). She holds sake brewery tours and is interested in food and liquor. She and holds various certifications including WSET Level 3, 1st Class Food Analyst, Sake Sommelier, Shochu Advisor and Chopsticks Sommelier.
