o as far as Kashmir is Concerned, I
dint really Live there and i was
around 8 months old where my
parents had taken me from Kashmir
to Canada, and i was pretty much
wazed in Canada, and as far as India is
Holistically Concerned, I used to travel off
ten to train in Hindustani Classical Music
and my parents used to bring me to
Allahabad and i lIved in Allahabad for about
6 to 7 years and i was trained there and i went
to the School as well So, the good thing about
it is I would come to Allahabad for about 6
Months Time travelling both the ends of
Countries from Canada to Allahabad and
from Canada back to Allahabad the Next year
and so on, so i had a lot of Exposure in terms
of Music and in Canada, I’m from Vancouver
so its a very Multicultural Community so
there is a lot of Mixed people like Punjabis,,
Lebanese People and we have a lot of
Pakistanis and Srilankans and also people
from South, and i had a chance of Listening to
very very different kinds of Music and that in
turn had helped me to Enhance in terms of
my Style,Tones Voice and Attitude i guess in
the Singing See ,when it comes to Regional
Language, i take no credits whatsoever ,
because i don’t know the Languages and i
think the Credit goes to a lot of people Who
actually does the recording for me which
includes the Composer, Includes the Lyricist,
it includes the Production Team, the Record
Engineer, and all its all Everyone all together
because they are ones who are there to
Constantly Guide me and they will tell me
where the Tongues needs to be rolled out, and
where it need to plain a lil more and so on,
and so its defenetly a Team Work and for me
My responsibility is to Quickly and efficiently
grasp what they are telling me to do and What
it is is that, when there is any Regional Song,
its very Important to go the roots of where it
is Coming from, and to Incorporate the
elements which are associated to its Region,
so if we are looking for a Punjabi kind of a
Theme, like the Song of Tinga linga Tinga
Linguu Tinga linga linga and like the Thodisi
doop meri, and these are really a hardcore
Punjabi and a Folk Punjabi kind of Singing
but at the same you have Something like a
Chromatic Scale of Singing too, like Tinge
Tinge Lingo linguuu and thats a very
Chromatic thing thats going on there and
