This local restaurant is renowned for their wide variety of bowls (including Happy Buddha, Goddess, and Huevos Rancheros), vegan burgers, salads, and smoothies (including Energy Blast, Yoga Bliss Colada, and Pure Chocolate Love). All menu items are healthy, vegan, and gluten-free. Their weekend brunch is a popular local mainstay. All tempeh and sprouted tofu are organic and non-GMO. Crafted in the vision of owner Heyli, Vegebitez has taken north Oakville by storm. All of their delicious gourment vegan items are bursting with flavour and interesting combinations. “This ain’t your mama’s rabbit food!” she says. Vegebitez offers salads, burgers (including Mexicalli and Smooth Criminal), bowls (including Big Buff and Pinata), smoothies, and “mylkshakes” made from organic, non-GMO, soy-based ice cream. This restaurant in the Kensington Market area is known for their fresh and delicious buckwheat "This ain't your mama's rabbit food!" THE BEET Location: 2968 Dundas Street West, Toronto Website: thebeet.ca The Beet Organic Restaurant, lo- cated in the heart of The Junction district, makes no compromises in sourcing local, organic ingre- dients. Their eggs, meat, cheese, and produce are all certified organic. Meat lovers need not shy away, since the menu in- cludes delicious dishes for both herbivores and carnivores alike. For example, burgers include the House Chuck Burger and the Vegan Green Lentil Veggie Burger. Breakfast is served until 4:00pm. The Beet’s Fully Loaded Avocado Combo is a house favourite. The 'Beet' on the street is locally sourced, healthy, organic food fare.
