explain further; when you damage a
muscle cell the cell and the supportive
connective tissue tears, your body
responds to this damage by repairing
the tears using other chemicals within
the body and thus making them grow
larger. This is why bodyweight glute
kickbacks are a great way of activating
your glutes but they wouldn’t overload
the muscle therefore they are ineffec-
tive when it comes to building them.
