followed in the 12 weeks leading up
to my first magazine cover shoot.
As detailed as this is, I feel there
are a lot of other tips that are just
as important. These are tips that
nobody tells you.

SURROUND YOURSELF WITH
POSITIVE PEOPLE: If you are
unable to surround yourself with
positive people and have a positive
environment, much like in nature,
you will struggle to flourish . This may
sound trivial but the best thing you
can do to succeed, especially in an
industry like health and fitness, is to
have a good group of people around
you that will not only help you on the
way up but are there for you when
things don’t always go to plan.

Chris was born and raised in Cork (Ireland). He studied a 4 year BSc. Biochemistry degree
in UCC before doing a 1 year Masters MSc. in Molecular Cell Biology with Bioinnovation
specializing in Breast Cancer. This led him to go on and complete a PhD in cancer research.
Chris comes from an athletics and rugby background, but grew to love weights more
than anything else. A few summers ago, he moved to California for a few months, trained
in Gold’s Gym and became hooked.
