“We allow all types of bikinis apart
from thong type bottoms,” says Glen
Raisbeck, co-founder of UKUP. “In the
bikini category we don’t like the big
glamour model type bikinis, as we find
this distorts the physique slightly.
However, we do have a model category
too and those type of bikinis are fine in
that category.”
“All we ask is that suits are tasteful and
provide adequate coverage,” says Ryan
Alexander, Director of the PCA. “Thong
suits are permitted by us in the UK, but
internationally it depends on the
affiliate country,” he advises.
