working trainers running around like
demented hamsters on a never ending
wheel of chasing clients. They all
seemed to be constantly worried about
where their next pay cheque was going
to come from. There was no career
progression or platform for them.
The only trainers who were deemed
‘good’ were the ones who could
shout the loudest, not those who could

Ultimate Performance first started
out in the UK, but Nick’s clubs soon
started popping up all over the world.
He now has branches in Mayfair,
The City of London, Kensington,
Manchester, Cheshire, Amsterdam,
Marbella, Dubai, Singapore, Hong
Kong, Sydney, and most recently, Los
Angeles. The growth of the business,
that now spans four continents, has
provided a wealth of opportunities for
personal trainers wanting to build an
unrivalled client base.
“It has been a tremendously
challenging journey,” Nick confesses.
