SHOW REPORT
muscle they brought to the stage.
Julian Ramdhari, winner of the Men’s
under 75kg category, was one of best and
most balanced bodybuilders out there. He
will definitely be a force in first callouts at
future shows. In the Classic Bodybuilding
up to 1.75m division Juan Smith
unfortunately slipped to 3rd after achieving
gold at last year’s ACA.
Joe “Mister Classic” Manjoo was
beaten by Farhad Azizi from Iran in the
Men’s Classic Bodybuilding up to 1.80m
category. Veterans Dumisani Jali (2nd) and
Jabulani Buthelezi (3rd) fought hard in the
Men’s Bodybuilding over 50 class and can
hold their heads high for their efforts.
Despite the foreign onslaught, South
Africans reigned supreme in the Women’s
Physique and Junior Fitness Bikini
categories. Marcelle Collison was in the
shape of her life and deserved to walk away
with the Overall title in the Women’s Body
Fitness category.
This year’s ACA was more streamlined
and entertaining than last year’s debut
event. Now the organisers just need to get
us Big Ramy...
