M.E BABE
ME: What kept you coming back to the stage
each time?
CM: I loved the transformation as well as all the
glitz and glamour. Everything would just come
together on the day... your custom-designed
costume would fit like a glove and hair and make-
up would be perfection. I also got to meet some
amazing people in the industry with the same love
and passion for the sport. Who wouldn't want to
come back to that?
ME: Tell us a bit about your recent trip to the
States and what you got out of it.
CM: It wasn't exactly a trip to remember due to our
luggage getting lost for four days and only arriving
after my show. I tried to make a plan as fast as I
could for my theme wear round. At the end I still
managed to place 7th overall which wasn't too bad
considering all the drama! I'll be back next time
with hand luggage ONLY!
ME: What can we expect from you in the near
future?
CM: My goal is to obtain my WBFF Pro status next
year at the WBFF SA event and then compete
against the best of the best at worlds again, but
lets see what God's got planned for me.
ME: Who is your favourite competitor?
CM: My competition varies a lot everytime I
compete but my favourite competitor at WBFF
Worlds was Bella Falconi. She not only has the
most amazing physique but she is also very sweet
and friendly.
ME: Who has been the biggest inspiration to
you in this sport?
CM: This has to be my husband Dean, he has
taught me everything I know in this sport. He has
taught me to never give up and always believe in
myself. He sets the perfect example for a fitness
athlete... his dedication, commitment and hunger
to be his best has inspired me from the very
beginning of my fitness journey.
