ith 2013 being the only IFBB SAs
that I have missed in 11 years, I
was really excited to get down
to Cape Town for this year’s show and see
what the best of the best were bringing
to the stage. The IFBB South African
Championships is the absolute pinnacle
of bodybuilding here in SA and easily the
biggest battle for the prestigious title of
South African Champion that can be found

anywhere in this country.
Kevin Schwartz and his team in Western
Province made every effort to put on a truly
brilliant show and they certainly didn’t
disappoint. Numerous sponsors graced the
day with Kieron Phillips from Xtreme Nutrition
and Muscle Evolution being main and title
sponsors of the event.
