AMCTO Professional Accreditations AMCTO’s commitment to supporting the ongoing excellence advancement journey of Ontario’s municipal professionals includes certifying the professional skills, experience and competency of its members through the granting of professional accreditations. The Association is extremely pleased to recognize the individuals who have attained the rigorous standards of AMCTO’s professional accreditation programs over the past year. This year we have a total of 21 individuals who have achieved one of the Association’s three professional accreditations. CMO – Certified Municipal Officer The CMO designation is the only professional designation in Ontario that specifically certifies the skills and knowledge requirements for being a successful local government manager. Over the past year, the following three AMCTO members attained the rigorous standard necessary to achieve the Certified Municipal Officer accreditation.
