excellence in municipal management and ad-
ministration. The Association takes great pride
in supporting and celebrating its members’ com-
mitment to ongoing professional development, and pur-
suit of excellence in their profession.
In the pages of this annual publication, we invite you to
join us in celebrating the outstanding achievements of your
municipal colleagues in academic excellence, attaining an
AMCTO professional accreditation, a dedicated service or
career excellence award, or an outstanding achievement
in municipal service delivery, demonstrated through an
innovative project.
I hope you will be as inspired by their achievements

Introducing 2017-2018 AMCTO
President Yvonne Robert
At AMCTO’s 79 th Annual Professional Development
Institute and AGM, Yvonne Robert, CMO, AOMC, AMCT,
Administrator-Clerk for the Township of Elizabethtown-
Kitley, was sworn in as President of AMCTO for the
2017-2018 year.
Yvonne’s extensive involvement with AMCTO includes
serving as a member of the Management Committee of
AMCTO’s Board of Directors, as past chair of AMCTO’s
Communications & Marketing Committee, and Chair
of the AMCTO Nominating Committee. Yvonne Robert
has successfully attained three AMCTO professional
designations, the CMO, AOMC and the AMCT,
demonstrating her commitment to ongoing professional
excellence.
