Basketball Shooting (Ages 7-12) Bring the entire family each week for 45 minutes of archery fun! You and your family members will meet new friends while learning the parts of an arrow and recurve bow, the basics of using a recurve bow, a nationally recognized beginner's 9-step to the 10 ring progression method, and fundamental shooting skills from an experienced instructor. All equipment is provided. The fee includes 1 child and 1 adult. Led by SportsKids Inc. (6 wks) Boys and girls learn jump shots, shots off the glass, lay-ups, shooting from a pass and shooting off the dribble. Shooting games are also part of the class. Led by SportsKids Inc. Some of the sports taught and played include basketball, floor hockey, football, kickball, soccer, and baseball. In addition, participants play many popular running and group games. Offense and defense strategies will be covered thoroughly. Most of the class focuses on improving your skills. Our speed, agility, and jump training session is built to make our participants faster, stronger, and more agile athletes. We use SKLZ equipment for our class which is highly recommended by multiple coaches and trainers. A scrimmage game will be played at the end of each class. Led By Sports R Us Staff. Youngsters also learn rhythmic gymnastics body elements, jumps, turns, and leaps as well as techniques with apparatus like hoops, balls, ribbons and jump ropes. Kids improve flexibility, gain strength, and develop coordination, all of which help them in any sport. Start out learning the proper way to perform rolls, handstands, and cartwheels. This class is a great introduction to tumbling, and it opens the door to gymnastics possibilities. Led by SportsKids Inc.
