We have been working very hard to find activities to keep the community engaged. The positive feedback has shown us what an amazing, supportive, strong and resilient community we are! As the stay at home order continues, we are shifting to an online brochure and more virtual (online) programming. We had already printed the summer brochure, but will not be mailing it. If the order is lifted soon and we can resume regular programming, it will be available at all of our facilities. In the meantime, take a look at what we are offering for May and June. With the entire community in mind, we are offering youth classes that include art, cooking, computer coding, language and video game designing. For those looking to remain active, we have several dance and fitness classes. And if you’re looking to simply connect with others while staying home, we’re offering a book club. As we transition back to on-site programming, we will continue to update the community on how we will reopen our facilities in a safe manner. We understand everyone is anxious to return to normal, but our first priority is safety. We recognize the way we operate will be different, but rest assured, Mundelein Park & Recreation District will continue to be an agency that offers its best to the Community.
