El debate del día de hoy en Unión Africana abordó la problemática de los “diamantes de sangre” que tiene como actores principales a distintos grupos insurgentes y a los 54 países que se han visto involucrados. Por un lado, los grupos insurgentes declaran que tienen una razón para realizar estas prácticas y que el Corán apoya sus planteamientos; por otro, entre los 54 países apoyan la moción de llevar a cabo un proyecto para frenar esta dinámica. Es así como se inicia con la propuesta de instauración del Proyecto Kimberley, el cual busca evitar la comercialización de los diamantes. De esta manera, se propone mejorar los mecanismos de control, fortalecer los sistemas de certificación, que la OIT cree un marco normativo para las empresas involucradas y una certificación para la creación de empresas africanas. Sin embargo, frente a este acuerdo los grupos al margen de la ley establecen que no van a tener en cuenta las anteriores propuestas debido a que sus voces no fueron escuchadas y que prefieren aferrarse a las armas, a menos que se cree un nuevo proyecto que los incluya.

Today, the Arab league committee approached the Syrian conflict that has been one of the most controversial wars around the world for years. This problem is not only affecting the Islamic State government but also the civilians who are claiming peace and respect. In this conflict, there are two main points of view: The ones that are in favor of Bashar al- Assad Regime, who support that Allah is the power and center of the world n denying other Gods. In contrast, there are Anti-Isis groups, which state that every single person should have its own opportunity to choose the religion they want to belong to. However, the main problem of this point of view is that if the state respects every given opinion, all religious groups will gain power and in response to this, starting their own wars
as in the Libyan Civil War. To stop this from happening, the Islamic State proposes a Caliphate Government, where all the policies must be established by the Quran and what has been stated by Allah.
