Hello lovely readers,

Letter from the Editor

I am delighted to say that since our last issue, I have given birth to another
beautiful daughter. Faye Melody Thompson was born on the 9th August at
7.14pm weighing 8lb 4.5oz. She has a mop of jet black hair and is perfectly
beautiful just like her two older sisters.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Liverpool Women’s Hospital
for their fantastic support throughout the 9 months and especially to Amanda
my midwife who has been amazing. During the ‘pushing’ part of labour, Faye’s
heart rate began to dip which resulted in having an emergency c-section. It’s
been a slower recovery as you will know or can imagine, so it has been a
challenge getting this issue out. But friends and family have made it possible!

The Mummy and Me team are really excited and looking forward to the Baby &
Toddler show taking place at Event City at the end of this month. It has been a
pleasure and a delight to work in partnership with Mercury Events. They have
worked hard to make this show fantastic with lots of great show deals for
parents-to-be through to great fun activities for toddlers. If you are planning to

I really hope that you enjoy this issue, we have featured some useful information
