Joseph’s family found the Bereavement Centre
at Alder Hey such a massive help and support
that they set up a charity “Touched by an Angel”
in Joseph’s memory.

All the Water Babies teachers and little ones
came to their classes in Disney fancy dress

guest appearances at some of the classes.

Fun in aid of the charity “Touched by an Angel”
raising money for Alder Hey Bereavement
Centre.
During the week of the 16th to the 22nd June all
the little ones swimming with Water Babies took
part in sponsored events.
This charity remains very close to our hearts
here at Water Babies Liverpool, it is in memory
of Joseph Mitchell who was born on the 17th
March 2010 and sadly passed away at 2 years
old having bravely fought to beat a rare heart
condition.

All babies and children who took part in the event
received a lovely certificate to say a massive
thank you for taking part in Water Babies ‘Swim
for Fun’
