A Letter From

the Editor...

First of all, welcome!

The very first issue of Multifarious has finally come to publication! I am so excited to present this new literary and arts journal, a creation born from study, creativity and a desire to share all of that with the arts and writing community.

Multifarious Literary Journal is an international eclectic collection of all types of writing and art; short stories, poetry, reviews, essays, graphic art, photography and more!

Each issue - delivered quarterly - will comprise many different forms of writing and art under a new theme every week.

This week's theme (A trace of hope) was based on a story already written, called I Want to Live, by Gretchen Farthain. The emotion it raised and the thread of hope within drew me in, and I knew I wanted to read and experience other people's ideas about this theme, hence it was chosen.

The first issue features 3 short stories, a review, 4 artists and many poems all within this theme.

I hope you enjoy the read!
