This is why hundreds of people at the MUHC are hard at work preparing for their transition . “ The success of our transition is directly related to the cumulative efforts of everyone at every level of the organization who work tirelessly day after day to make this vision a reality ”.
With the first patient move a few months away , Richer reflects on the progress made to date . “ Our transition is well underway , and so far the results are encouraging .” she reminded . “ We need to keep working hard and continue ramping up our efforts . The reconfiguration of our services on oour sites is an opportunity to transform how we do things ; it is a unique chance to make the MUHC into the university health centre we want to be .”
Over the course this six years project , the TSO will have supported more than 500 clinicians in over 100 transition related projects in all sectors of the MUHC . Here is a look at just a few of them :

This project also helped clinicians to find ways to eliminate bloodstream infections and other associated complications . This large-scale initiative is benefiting from TSO resources . It requires the on-going participation of technicians , nurses and physicians from all care units .
