Vision La réception du Centre du cancer des Cèdres The reception desk at the Cedars Cancer Centre gg  linear accelerator bunkers and 12 exam rooms. These spaces house cutting-edge equipment such as the Cyberknife M6®, an automated radiosurgery system used to fight tumours and the first of its generation in a Canadian hospital. Our Oncology Day Hospital is designed with a mix of single rooms and open-bay recliner stations, allowing 50 patients to undergo treatment simultaneously. The Centre also comes complete with ambulatory clinics, a medical physics department, an oncol- ogy pharmacy, a palliative care day hospital, and a Clinical Research Unit and Tumour Registry. Additional efforts made to improve the human side of healthcare include healing green spaces, such as a tranquility garden; the Cedars CanSupport Resource Centre, a quiet haven for those need- ing to access its vast library of important health information or support groups; leading-edge equip- ment and technology, and much more. In line with the MUHC’s teaching hospital mission, the Cedars Cancer Centre allows our team of stellar medical professionals to continue to pioneer cancer diagnosis and treatment while teaching the next generation of oncology specialists. As such, the Centre has numerous conference rooms and five team rooms for multi-disciplinary consultation and teaching. The new facilities are also better positioned to support the crucial work of the Rossy Cancer Network – a partnership com- prised of McGill, the Montreal Jewish Hospital and St Mary’s Hospital – leaders who strive to im- prove quality, effectiveness and efficiency across the continuum of cancer care in Quebec. g  Cèdres permet à notre brillante équipe de professionnels de la santé de conti- nuer de faire œuvre de pionnier dans les domaines du diagnostic et du traitement du cancer, tout en enseignant à la prochaine génération de spécialistes.
