Christmas Around the World by Vickie McDonough I’m sure we all have our own special Christmas traditions. When my parents were both alive, our family would go to their house for a turkey dinner on Christmas day. Something unusual we did was put our wrapped presents in laundry baskets. I know that’s odd, but it made the assorted packages easier to carry into the house. We also put our tree up on the weekend following Thanksgiving so that we can enjoy it longer.
