Northern Cape get ready because
from 20 to 23 June 2017, Mining and
Technical Exhibitions (MTE) will be in
your area. The MTE team will be in
Beeshoek, Kathu and Lime Acres.
T
he Beeshoek mining area is a large iron ore mine
location. Beeshoek represents one of the largest
iron ore reserves in South Africa and in the world,
having estimated reserves of 117.5 million tonnes of
ore grading 63.7% iron metal.
Kolomela
Beeshoek mine and Kolomela mine are some of the
iron ore producers in the Beeshoek area and they are
expected to be at the show. Companies supplying
equipment or products to the iron ore companies
will also attend the show to exhibit their latest
offerings. The MTE team will be in Beeshoek on
20 June 2017.
Northern Cape
Kathu is a mining town located between Kuruman
and Olifantshoek. The town is home to one of the
largest iron ore mine operations in the world. Sishen
mine, Khumani mine and small mining operations
are expected to visit the show which will take
place on 22 June 2017. Suppliers of pumps, mining
machines, gear boxes, lifting equipment and trackless
equipment are some of the many companies that
will be at the show to display their latest products.
