A MESSAGE FROM THE ORGANISER
WELCOME TO
MOGALAKWENA!
If you are involved in the platinum mining industry in
any way, then this is definitely the expo for you! Mining
and Technical Exhibitions (MTE) is excited to bring
visitors a platinum special expo in Limpopo province.
Mogalakwena’s main offices will be buzzing with
lots of activity on 2 August 2018 as MTE will be in the
area for a platinum edition. Between 13:00 and 17:00,
stakeholders in the platinum mining industry will have
the opportunity to find out the latest trends in terms of
products and services in platinum mining.
This expo is a perfect opportunity for visitors to find
out the technologies available on the market, which
can be used to improve productivity, efficiency and
safety back on the mines. This information can give
visitors and mines the competitive edge in the platinum
mining industry. During the show, visitors also have an
opportunity to engage with exhibitors on products and
services that may not be on display at the expo but is
still beneficial to the mines.
MTE also conveniently brings the expo to the mines
so that visitors do not have to travel far distances
to get to the shows. The expo runs for four hours,
giving visitors sufficient time to pop in to see what
is happening. Mogalakwena mine, Ivanhoe mines’
Platreef project and local industry are expected to
visit the show.
We trust the expo will be a rewarding experience –
whether you are visiting or exhibiting. However, we are
always open to suggestions as to how we can make
future expos even more accommodating for you and
your business. Andrew Macnamara, Hannes Jacobs,
Caryn Kitching and Sheldon Greybe will be at the
show to ensure that everything runs smoothly for both
exhibitors and visitors.
For those who are not familiar with MTE, this
travelling exhibition company has been running for
25 years, providing a unique platform for suppliers
of top-of-the-line mining and industrial equipment to
showcase their goods to a community hungry for new
technology, services and information – right on
its doorstep.
MTE is part of Interact Media Defined (IMD), a multi-
media publishing house with publications in a variety of
industries including mining, plumbing, building and civil
engineering among others.
