A MESSAGE FROM THE ORGANISERS
Welcome to Namibia !
Mining & Technical Exhibitions ( MTE ) is visiting Namibia , bringing buyer and supplier together in a unique way .
The first show will be in the small town of Arandis , located in the Erongo region of Namibia . The town is dubbed the uranium capital of the world as it is located just 15km outside the world ’ s largest and longest-running open-pit uranium mine , the Rössing Uranium Mine . The town is also home to the Namibian Institute of Mining and Technology , a technical institute focused on training skilled industrial workers .
This is MTE ’ s first exhibition in the area , and the team is looking forward to making sure it is a successful one . Other mines that will be at the expo include Rossing Uranium Mine , Swakop Uranium Mine , Langer Heinrich , smaller mining operations , Areva , Reptile Uranium Mine and Bannerman Resources .
