In high school she excelled at hockey and at around 16 started cycling. She fell in love with it and went on to win the British National Cyclocross Champs in 2016, 2017 and 2018, and was the first ever U23 woman to win the 2016 Cyclocross World Champs. In MTB, she won silver at the 2015 Junior XCO MTB World Champs, at the World Cup opener in Stellenbosch and at the MTB XCO race at the 2018 Commonwealth Games. Evie’s goal is to compete at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games. tools of the trade HELMET Bontrager (in baby blue to match the bike) NUTRITION GU (I try to get most of my nutrition from eating whole foods, but for races these products are great) CLOTHING Santini SHOES Bontrager SUNGLASSES Oakley (and lots of them!). Clothing is difficult to customise when riding for a team so mixing up my glasses is one of my favourite things to do. GLOVES Bontrager. I’m not a big fan of gloves because I pay so much to get my nails done and it seems a shame to hide them, but I know how painful it is to fall on your hand, and this could lead to unwanted time off the bike. @eviee_alicee
