Essential Spring Gardening Tips With Duncan Himmelman, PhD 10:45 – 11:45 am Get your garden off to a great start this spring with great ways to revitalize the soil, prepare garden beds, and deal with weeds using professional-grade tools. Leave with a list of recommended hardy native plants and local garden centers that carry them. Lunch (12 – 12:30 pm) Knockout Natives for Every Landscape With Denise Gilchrist 12:30 – 1:30 pm Join Denise Gilchrist as she highlights reliable native plants that were top performers in our research trials, including Coreopsis, Baptisia, Monarda, and Phlox. She will focus on varieties that will make beautiful additions to your garden.
