As anticipation builds for opening weekend there is an added buzz at Mt Buller with the guarantee we ’ ll be skiing and boarding .
For many years the question hanging in the air was ‘ will there be snow for opening weekend ?’ This year Bourke Street will be open and the question will instead be , ‘ What time shall we meet at Blue Bullet for our first turns of the winter ?’
A $ 1.6m ‘ snow factory ’ will blanket snow onto our favourite village run from May , regardless of the weather , promising snow lovers the satisfaction of getting on their skis and boards from day one . How cool is that ?
