WHAT’S NEW IN 2017 New Rip Curl store in the Village Brighter Buller Kids’ Centre A new flagship Rip Curl store is an exciting addition to the retail offering at Mt Buller this winter. Situated in the village centre the Rip Curl store will incorporate Harro’s Photo Shop & Gallery while offering quality mountainwear from one of Australia’s iconic surf & snow brands. The Buller Kids’ Centre in the Ski & Snowboard School has had a facelift for 2017 with an improved registration area and extensive renovations to improve the experience for our littlest skiers taking their first turns in the Magic Forest. “The Rip Curl store will be a hub for mountain enthusiasts,” said Tony “Harro” Harrington about the changes. “It brings together great mountainwear, split boards for those embracing backcountry adventure and we’ll be the only store in Victoria where you can find awesome films and merchandise from Teton Gravity Research. Improved terrain between Bull Run and Skyline The old earth-formed halfpipe has been landscaped out, opening up a wide rolling slope and more ski area between the Bull Run and Skyline lifts. Cruising over into Sun Valley is now a breeze and access to the Blizzard racecourse is much easier. Ready for racing To support a busy race and training program on Little Buller Spur a race hut has been built at the top of the run. It will be home to gates and timing equipment for the Victorian and National Interschools events as well as the many other race events held over the winter. My team of photographers will continue to offer great family and action shots on the slopes through the Photo Shop and I will also have art pieces for people seeking inspiring mountain and surf images for their walls.” FIND OUT MORE AT MTBULLER.COM.AU 6 WINTER MEDIA GUIDE
