adventures.
WHAT’S NEW
Resort Management continues to implement strategies
to improve the visitor experience at Mt Stirling,
particularly in low snow conditions. Visitors to
Mt Stirling in 2016 will enjoy improved access to the
snow, including track upgrades from King Saddle
(approx. 1300m elevation) to the Machinery Shed
(approx.1400m elevation), allowing a shuttle service
to deliver guests to and from the snowline more
efficiently.
A new rotunda shelter at the Machinery Shed will
welcome guests with visitor information and a place to
catch the shuttle back to Telephone Box Junction (TBJ).
Mt Stirling has something to offer everyone - from
school groups and families, to naturalists and outdoor
enthusiasts. Visitors to Mt Stirling can enjoy a variety
of activities including:
• Alpine touring or backcountry snowboarding
• Cross-country skiing
• Snowshoeing
• Snow camping
• Tobogganing and snow play
