MT STIRLING ALPINE RESORT Authentic alpine adventure Accommodation In the stunning natural setting of Mt Stirling life is a lot more off-grid. At Telephone Box Junction, the hub of Mt Stirling, there is a cosy café and visitor centre, and further afield facilities for adventurers and campers including day shelters, mountain huts, horse yards and camp sites. There’s no Hilton on Mt Stirling; in fact there are no hotels at all. And that’s the beauty of it. Visitors to Mt Stirling come to experience a natural wilderness and that includes getting back to basics. There is a range of non-serviced camping sites available, as well as historic huts once used by droving mountain cattleman. Whilst there is no commercial accommodation on mountain, Mt Stirling is only a 30km drive from the Mt Buller village and 39km from Mansfield.
