Honoring Military Spouses and Dependents' Sacrifices

When Army Chief of Staff General Ray Odierno retired from active duty on August 14, 2015, he took a moment to praise his wife Linda and military spouses everywhere, “She sacrificed her entire life for me. I can never repay her for that…You don’t understand. You don’t understand everything that they do every day in order to make us a better Army. I don’t believe there’s any other profession [where] we count on our spouses to do so many things.”

At MSCCN, we, as military spouses and Veterans, understand that sacrifice. When Deb Kloeppel and Amy Rossi first founded MSCCN, they had that sacrifice in mind. Deb Kloeppel, Founder and President, CASY & MSCCN explains,

“We know that spouse employment affects retention rates, and we know that spouses—whether they’ve been with their Marine, Sailor, Soldier, Coastie, or Airman for twenty years or two, whether their relationship was recognized or not, and whether they stayed together or not—sacrifice a lot as military spouses. We founded MSCCN to combat underemployment and unemployment for all military spouses, partners, and dependents in order to honor their sacrifices and ease the employment woes they face.”

Over ten years later, MSCCN still honors the sacrifices of military spouses and dependents by providing our FREE services to:
