MSCCN announced election of Conrad Chun, Vice President of Communications for Boeing Global Services, as Chairman of their board.

A retired US Navy captain, Chun held a series of high-profile communications positions, garnering experience in crisis communications, media relations, legislative affairs and strategic planning during his 24 years of service. He joined The Boeing Company in 2010, first as the director of Communications for Boeing Military Aircraft (BMA), a division of Boeing Defense, Space & Security and then as director of Communications for Global Services & Support (GS&S), the services division of Boeing Defense, Space & Security, prior to taking on his current role.

Mr. Chun has sat on the Military Spouse Corporate Career Network’s Board of Directors since 2013.

Deb Kloeppel, Founder and President of MSCCN reflected on Mr. Chun’s and Boeing’s commitment to MSCCN, military spouses, and military families. “In 2004, The Boeing Company, alone took the problem of military spouse unemployment seriously. At that time, Boeing became the FIRST and number one Defense Contractor to contribute

to the job placement of military spouses. Today, Boeing remains unyielding in their support towards the betterment of the military family, and Conrad Chun’s long support of MSCCN exemplifies this commitment. What a natural thirteen-year progression of events for Boeing and MSCCN."

Mr. Chun’s new role as chairman continues his commitment to serving military families.

Regarding his new role, Chun remarked, “I continue to be inspired by the MSCCN mission and the organization’s success achieved. I am truly humbled to serve in the role of Chairman of the Board.‎"
