On July 19, 2017, Director of Training & Communications, Amy Rossi attended a press conference at Dutchess Community College in Poughkeepsie, NY to speak to the new class of IBM i2 students.

Building on IBM’s commitment to hire 2,000 veterans in the US over the next 4 years, leaders from IBM, Dutchess Community College, and Corporate America Supports You (CASY) joined forces on the community college campus.

The efforts resulted in all 10 students passing the exam to become certified in the use of IBM software (i2) widely used by law enforcement, cybersecurity, and national security agencies.  Commercial banking and insurance companies also use the software to investigate fraud or other criminal activity.

CASY will work with each of the students to help them pursue new career opportunities.
