Note – customer survey conducted Sept/Oct 2015.
Key highlights for the 2015 year include:
• The network performed reliably
with SAIFI below target although
the SAIDI was above target.
Approximately half the SAIDI
overrun was due to the high level
of planned outages involved in the
Rangiora West upgrade project.
The remainder was caused by
a single November wind storm
event.
• Lost time injuries and OSH
notifiable accidents were both
up on previous years although
the average lost time per
injury reduced. We continue to
emphasize health and safety
practices in our training and
daily operations, and retain
an expectation of no lost time
injuries which is consistent with
this focus. The 2016 year to date
figure is much lower.
• The return on investment was
higher than forecast due to
increased consumption.
SAIDI - Average minutes customer is
without power during the year.
SAIFI - Average supply interruptions per
customer during the year.
