this crew, the secondary school also decided to join
the Friday fun. High school students will skip their
instructor access and third periods to be present at
the field and have fun time with the elementary
students. Once all the activities are finished, both
high school and elementary students will be off to
their fall break!
On
11th October, 2013, Mountainview will
hold a field day for all secondary and elementary
students. Earlier this year, secondary teachers decided
not to have a field day. However, elementary teachers
argued that MICS students should have a field day
because the interaction between young and old
students would be healthy and beneficial to the
school body. One of the elementary teachers,

Kindle and twenty e-books
are now available at the secondary library. The Kindle can be
borrow by a student for five days
after he or she signs “The Mountainview Secondary Library Kindle Borrowing Agreement,”
which specifies warnings and
regulations regarding how to
keep the Kindle safe and the
possible safety of the device and
consequences for damage done.
As for the e-books, the e-books,
they can be borrowed for twoweeks on a student’s personal
gadget. The e-books will then
return to the library’s system
automatically after two weeks.
Say goodbye to bulky books and
say hello to the electronic library!
