Feature: lmg - travellers rally event
For anyone who lives in the United Kingdom, they
are well aware that Wales’ green and pleasant
countryside is due in most part to its above average
levels of rain, and unfortunately the weather
forecast for the event suggested that the
Baskerville Hall area was going to welcome the
travellers with a taste of Welsh rain, if not some
storms. This wasn’t going to bode well for those
who had opted to partake of the included free
camping with the ticket rather than securing one of
the few rooms in the Hall itself.
Travelling down from the Yorkshire Dales area, I

first sessions of the day commenced. You had to be

weather conditions) and the weather itself showed
no signs of abating. H aving said that, the tent was
pitched and kit thrown inside (after changing in to
something more befitting sitting in presentations)
and I made my way up to the hall to have a look
around.
Before entering the hall I wanted to have a quick
look at the vendors who had setup their
presentation tents. Vendors ranged from the
ubiquitous overlanding equipment company
Touratech, the superbly helpful Motofrieght and
James Cargo shipping companies, through to bike
manufacturer CCM. There was also a large food
